Sankat Mochan Temple

Sankat Mochan Temple is a Hindu temple in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India and is dedicated to the Hindu God Hanuman. The temple was established by Great Saint Poet Goswami Tulsidas Ji at the beginning of the 16th century and is situated on the banks of the Assi River. The god is known as “Sankat Mochan,” which translates as “healer of troubles.”

Sarnath

Sarnath is a place located 10 km north-east of Varanasi near the confluence of the Ganges and the Varuna rivers in Uttar Pradesh, India. According to Buddhist tradition, Sarnath is a place where Gautama Buddha taught his first sermon after attaining enlightenment at Bodh Gaya. It is also traditionally considered the place where the Buddhist sangha first came into existence through the enlightenment of Kondanna.
